Gilmore for Kids is made possible through a generous grant from Betty and Jerry Mason.
From the war cry of a charging army to a buzzing hive of bees, the piano is the chameleon of the musical world. It can imitate the thunder of a hundred-piece orchestra or the lapping waves of an idyllic lake. 1991 Gilmore Young Artist Peter Miyamoto will fascinate young audiences with many of the wonders of the piano in performances that entertain and inspire. Let Miyamoto guide you through this exploration of music imagery and fabled forces — all with just one instrument and ten flying fingers!
