Reverend Dwayne Robert Mason is considered one of the most talented gospel pianists performing in Chicago today. His piano style is spiritual with a deep influence in the roots of boogie, blues, and jazz. Reverend Mason performs uplifting, soulful music with a mesmerizing quality that appeals to a broad audience. Almost entirely self-taught, Reverend Mason released his solo gospel piano CD, “Glory Glory” in December 2003.
Reverend Dwayne Robert Mason was born in Chicago. He’s one man with three professions: a licensed minister, mortician and musician. He operates Mason’s Funeral & Cremation Services on Chicago's south side, and he pastors St. Martin’s Church of Christ at 56th and State Street, where his gospel music and preaching can be heard every Sunday morning.
